This privacy policy applies to Banner Printing Same Day (BPSD), a banner printing studio based at Shop 395, Tildesley Road, Putney Heath, London SW15 3BD. We are the data controller for information collected through this website and our ordering process.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect only what we need to print and deliver your banner:
- Contact details: name, phone number, email address
- Delivery address: when you request delivery rather than collection
- Payment info: processed by our card processor, not stored on our servers
- Artwork files: the designs you send us to print
- Website usage: anonymised analytics via Google Analytics 4
3. Why We Collect It
We use your data strictly to:
- Produce and deliver your banner order
- Contact you about your specific order (proofs, collection times, issues)
- Handle payment and issue invoices
- Improve our website based on anonymous usage patterns
We do not use your data for marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
4. How Long We Keep It
Order records: 6 years (HMRC tax requirement). Artwork files: kept for 12 months in case you reorder, then deleted. Website analytics: 14 months then anonymised automatically.
5. Who Sees Your Data
Only the BPSD studio team. We do not sell, share or rent your data to any third party. Exceptions:
- Our courier partners (name, phone, address) when you request delivery
- Our card processor (Stripe or equivalent) for payment authorisation
- HMRC, if legally compelled
6. Your Rights Under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold on you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data (subject to our legal retention obligations)
- Object to any marketing use
- Complain to the UK Information Commissioner (ico.org.uk)
